Can’t believe you’re no longer with us but you will live long in our hearts. How can we forget someone who was so positive no matter what life threw at you, and boy did it try. So many happy memories of you and the family gatherings. Always happy, always laughing, always on the go and always with a can of coke near by. Endless stories of life and always an opinion, and even if people thought you were wrong about something you’d convince them otherwise. Oh, and how I’ll miss the stories of your monumental exercise bike sessions. I’m exhausted just remembering them. Thanks for being who you were and thanks for marrying Mary and being a part of my life. I’m all the better for it. Oh, and one last thing...... if this country ever has another lockdown and us older family members have to resort to using Zoom again, you know we’re screwed !!!

Quite simply the bravest man I’ve known. With a dry sense of humour would not suffer fools gladly, help anyone helped us many years ago a letter to be written a person to be admonished of course he knew exactly what to say and how to say it. A bright light has gone out from this world and it is duller for it, It’s clear from all the messages how much he meant to all he knew. We were lucky enough to have had him touch our lives.
