At Adam and Mary’s wedding I said that if anyone wanted to see a man who could look adversity full in the face and poke it in the eye and get on with life , look no further than Adam .
Nothing changed during the next 13 years .
Adam lived life to the full, not a day was wasted , every hour had to be used.
Adam’s life revolved around his family and sport .
It would have been so simple to sit back and take things easy but that was not Adam.
If he was not cycling, running , swimming , playing football or taking part In ironman competitions then he was standing on the touchline cheering on Matilda ,Connie and Arthur when they were taking part in their sporting activities
I never once heard Adam complain about the poor health life had dealt him , he just got on with it ,no point in complaining.
You could always tell when Adam had been in our house , either there was an empty Coca-Cola can or a large black tea stained mug , or quite often both.
It would be nice to think that Adam is up there and has again met up with Barrie and they are talking football tactics and picking their fantasy football teams .
Adam you will be greatly missed.
All our love
Wilson & Ann
